Challenge #72 Monochrome with Ike's Art

It's Friday! And it's a holiday weekend so we hope you will all enjoy the break if you're lucky enough to have one! I have 4 kids so it's not a holiday for me!!! However, we do have a new challenge for you if you have a chance to do something crafty this next week. We have the fabulous Ike's Art as our sponsor this week and our theme is Monochrome.

Now for those of you who know Left of Center Creative Challenges, you'll be aware that we accept all entries that meet the theme AND some which dont - anything that you make which comes under an alternative/LOC theme is more than welcome! We have added a new LOC category to the rules page this week - 'Risqué'. Technically, this has always been accepted, we've never turned away anything 'sexy' but we just wanted to clarify that you are more than welcome to add your naughty/sexy/risqué creations to the linky tool and we will accept them under the LOC theme at any time!

Winners Challenge #70 Dark Dreams with Sweet Pea Stamps

Welcome back to LOC! So glad that you could join us for our 'Dark Dreams' Challenge!

It is great to see so many different styles of crafting being entered....I think it is well known now that we aren't ONLY a dark themed challenge blog....

We appreciate everyone who enters out challenges, and wish everyone could be a winner....but alas, we can only have one prize winner.

We have the following winning categories -

2. Top Picks - These will Win Top Picks badges

3. Designer Spotlights - Team Members will pick a make which they like, used a great technique, layout or colouring etc.... (Will depend on number of entries)

#11 Paper Whims - Love it, not your ordinary Easter Card, Creepy & bright at the same time.

#7 Jackie - The glittery highlights in her hair and pearl embellishments lift this monochrome design without losing the 'dark' theme.

#4 Elephangaroo - Wonderful design and colors. I interpret all the loops and lines as the roads and obstacles that your lovely chicken has to deal with. Fab take on the challenge.

#9 Crafty Vicky's journal pages captures this topic perfectly. The colouring is exquisite & the use of playing cards inspired.

#10 Craftisan Studios - Dragonflies Swarming Me. This is a beautiful mixed media piece. I love the use of the dragonfly images, and the zentangle elements. I also really love the idea of "making art for me!"

Challenge #71 Mermaids with Spellbinding Stamps

Good Morning folks! I am so glad you've joined us today for a brand new LOC Challenge! The theme this week is 'Mermaids/Water', so think mermaids, fishes, the ocean, rivers and beautiful things like that and show us what you come up with.
