Challenge #30 - Spring Fling with Delicious Doodles

Wow! What fabulous dark themed creations we had entered in the last LOC Creative Challenge - it's great to see so many of you embracing your dark side! I think we will be aiming for a few more 'dark' challenges to get your creative juices flowing! Join us next Friday for the winners!

A bit of Crew news before we announce the new challenge. We have said au revoir to two of our team in the last few weeks for personal reasons and we just want to say good luck and best wishes to both Lorraine and Jo - much love from Mo and the Crew! xxx 

This fortnight our theme is 'Spring Fling' - you can interpret this anyway you see fit but if it's not clear, please explain the link in your post! We have the fabulous Delicious Doodles sponsoring this challenge and the LOC Crew have had the pleasure of using some amazing images for your inspiration.

Challenge #28 Winners and Midway Reminder for Challenge #29

Wow! That was a quick week - Cant believe I am writing up another LOC Winners post! Hope you all have your fingers crossed! We were, as always, blown away with the standard of entries to the last challenge #28 Ribbons and/or Flowers sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and the team have been voting for our favourites all week.

Just before I announce the winner, we have been discussing the numbers of entrants who are entering dozens upon dozens of challenges at a time. We appreciate that we are probably not high on many participants list of challenges to enter, and realise that many people entering at LOC do so as a direct result of visiting PaperPlayful and presumably seeking out specific challenge themes from there. We would like to think that we offer excellent prizes from our fabulous sponsors and that our themes are challenging, diverse and open to crafters of all styles. We love the darker side of crafting but as past winners have proven, it's not just the LOC entries that could win the prizes. We are, therefore, imposing a new rule from challenge #30 beginning next week. There will be a maximum number of other challenges that you can combine your entry with to be considered for the top prize. We will continue to highlight this and remind you for the next few weeks. Thanks!!

Challenge #29 Anything Goes - Dark Themed!!

Morning Everyone! I hope this post finds you all well and enjoying the Spring sunshine that seems to have appeared... well, in Scotland for a day or so anyways! Perhaps you could leave us a comment and tell us where you are and how Mother Nature is treating your corner of the world! I'm curious!!

Anyway, onto our brand new challenge and it's a goodie - Anything Goes.... Dark Themed!!! So yes, we want you to explore your dark side, go Goth, Horror, Emo, Steampunk, Fantasy, Anime, whatever your particular edgier side is, we want to see it! Whether you make a card, Art Journal page, Altered Art, 3D item, we want to see it all!

Anniversary Anything Goes Mega Winners Post!

Wow!!! We were blown away by the amazing amount of talent and creativity shown in our 1st Anniversary Anything Goes Mega Challenge! We have 11 sponsors, some fabulous prizes to give away and some freebies for those that want them! 

The DT have been voting, ties were broken, judges decisions are final! If you're on the list, you have till April 20th to claim your prize or a new winner will be chosen! We will be spotlighting the winners creations over on the LOC Facebook Group, please join us for that! Winners were chosen by DT Vote, sponsors names put in a hat, and chosen in order of the number of votes - eg first winner with most votes got the first name out the hat. Challenge #27 Winners and Midway Reminder for Challenge #28

Wow! What a month March was!!! Fabulous daily inspiration from the LOC Crew and our Guest Designers to celebrate our First Anniversary! We have had a great month and hope you have too! Stay tuned for the Winners of the Anything Goes challenge later today!

1st Anniversary Event - The Final Day!

We are down to the final few hours of the Anything Goes Challenge to celebrate the first anniversary of Left of Center Creative Challenges! The LOC Crew and myself would like to thank everyone who has taken part in the event! We are so grateful for our guest designers who have helped make this event so fantastic! We couldn't have done it without you!

And I couldn't have done it without the LOC Crew! A big thank you to all my ladies!

I dont know about you, but I have had a lot of fun this month with all the amazing projects to look at here at Left of Center! I hope you have been inspired to join in our regular fortnightly challenges - they always have a theme, you dont have to be a dark themed crafter to join in, but either way, we would love to see you here again!

You have only a few hours left to get your projects linked up to the Anything Goes Challenge and after that the LOC Crew will have the difficult task of choosing our 11 winners! These winners will go in a hat and prizes chosen at random.
